Puesta del Sol is a condominium complex just 1.5 miles north of the main plaza, or zocalo, of downtown San Miguel, which is the heart of Cozumel. Puesta del Sol is located on the North side of the island and is perfect for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy vacation tourism yet be close enough to enjoy the many restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and entertainment Cozumel has to offer. The complex is divided into a Phase 1 (north building) and Phase 2 (south building). In the pictures, the Phase 1 side building is yellowish and the Phase 2 building is white. All condos at Puesta del Sol have views of the ocean. Enjoy the “puesta del sol,” meaning sunset in Spanish, from the comfort and privacy of your room every evening. Most units are large, sleeping up to eight guests, with picture windows, sliding glass door, and a balcony to enjoy the stunning ocean views. Be sure to take advantage of the kitchen space, as the kitchen comes fully equipped to cook a meal any time of day. The attached balcony is large enough to have a diningtable to enjoy a meal overlooking the pool and ocean. Each unit in Puesta del Sol has up-to-date and modern appliances, bathroom amenities, and décor, which complement Puesta del Sol’s contemporary exterior style. Modern features include recessed lighting, stainless steel appliances, tiled bathrooms, and leather and teak accent furniture. The floors are also beautifully designed with large tiles that make each room unique and visually appealing.
The outdoor living space of Puesta del Sol is large and beautifully landscaped. Relax outdoors and enjoy oceanfront living, complete with shade from palm trees and comfortable lounge chairs to soak up the sun. Adjacent to the pool area, there are a set of stairs built right into the ocean for easy access to swimming and snorkeling-- steps from your condo. The complex features a large, multi-depth Infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea. There is plenty of shade to enjoy a book or catch a nap underneath the palapas, or natural thatched-roof, manmade umbrellas. Puesta del Sol’s outdoor living space is a wonderful feature to enjoy Cozumel’s luxurious weather and water.
