CHOOSE THE VACATION SPOT OF CELEBRITIES
Ever heard of Paulina Rubio? She is a Latino superstar—singer, actress, and TV hostess who has sold over 20 million records. And Casa Santa Pilar happens to be among this starlet’s favorite vacation destinations in Cozumel.
Situated on the quiet and secluded north side of the island, this lavish four-bedroom, five-bath house is one of the most sought-after and luxurious in Cozumel. This gorgeous home sits right on the beach and offers a host of amenities: a pool table, an indoor hot tub, wet bar, a master suite that is essentially the size of an entire apartment, and an on-site night watchman for the utmost in security, privacy and peace of mind.
The formal living room of this incredible space overlooks the sparkling freshwater pool and the glimmering blue waters of the Caribbean. The open-concept design also offers terrific sight lines for the kitchen and dining room—the former is fully equipped with appliances and amenities on every scale, and the latter provides a lovely area for up to eight friends to gather for a feast.
While the whole home is worthy of hosting a get-together, the officially designated entertainment area is home to a large and incredibly comfortable U-shaped sofa, chic floor rugs, a pool table, and a spectacular wet bar area that is even more amazing when you flip on the lights at dusk.
For your convenience, there’s also a full bathroom that has an entrance from both indoors and out, so guests can rinse off the sea and sand from their daily excursions without having to venture through the home. There’s also a gorgeous bedroom on this floor, which comes furnished with a king-sized bed with a beautifully appointed ensuite.
Travel up the dramatic staircase to the two additional bedrooms, one featuring a queen-sized bed and balcony with stunning views of the private pool and white-sand beach, and the other with two queens and adjoining bath.
Ah, and the master suite, which the famous former guest undoubtedly enjoyed: it features a raised king-sized bed, separate lounging area complete with a sink-in-soft sofa and TV, and a magnificent balcony that overlooks the shimmering waters of both the pool and ocean.
That’s not all. The master suite bath is as large as the entire downstairs dining room, with his and hers walk-in closets. The luxury continues with an in-room massage table, huge walk-in shower, double vanities, a separate make-up area, and—get this—a hot tub with unencumbered views of the ocean.
When you're ready to spend some time outside, take a dip in the incredibly spacious freshwater pool, or journey down the rustic wooden path that leads directly to the beach. There’s also a fantastic (and shaded) outdoor kitchen, where you can spend an afternoon amazing your friends with your new Mexican-inspired recipes or time-honored barbecue skills.
At sunset, when the moon is high and the mood is right, you can take a walk on the beach, which stretches a mile in each direction. And the next morning, when you're ready to do it all over again, you can arrange to be picked up for a diving or snorkeling excursion—that neighboring dock is at your disposal.
When you’re ready to explore the local side of the island, the bustling waterfront promenade of Cozumel is a 15- to 20-minute drive away. This is where you will discover abundant high-end stores, boutiques, local vendors, restaurants, grocery stores, a movie theater, bars and a vibrant nightlife. This is also a primary port for cruise ships as well as the ferry terminal, with daily trips to and from Playa del Carmen. You'll find dozens upon dozens of dive shops that are anxious to help you discover the underwater world for which Cozumel is famed.
You don’t have to be a superstar to vacation like one at Casa Santa Pilar in tropical Cozumel.

House us fantastic, the location is great. We had a fabulous family time. Kids had a great time snorkeling and seeing so many different colorful fishes right in front of the property. I definitely recommend this place.

This place was amazing. The pool and being right on the beach is the only way to enjoy Cozumel. I must say that seeing people walk by on the beach and look in, they wish that they were stay there as well.

Gorgeous home, extremely spacious, very clean, and perfect for a large party like ours. Everyone was comfortable in their own rooms and each room had its own bathroom which again was a great for our large party. All beds were very comfortable. Beautiful pool and love the private beach access but be aware if you want privacy this may not be the place for you as the home is located right next to a resort so the beaches border each other. Housekeeping was awesome and did a great job keeping the house clean behind our large group. Security was also really great and extremely courteous. I would definitely recommend this Home and stay here again myself.

Incredible space in a phenomenal location. The House was very clean and as described. The staff at the home were extremely helpful. We had an awesome time on our Christmas holiday. Planning to come back next year.

The whole stay was outstanding, house perfectly kept and clean, Pawel, Diana and the rest of the staff were very professional and quick to exceed needs...

Casa Santa Pilar was truly special. It was a splurge that we will never forget! Diana was lovely to deal with and gave us the best restaurant recommendation. She went WAY above and beyond to be accommodating and made our stay even more amazing. Great beach in front of the Cozumeleno resort next door...wonderful to snorkel in. Diving off the pier and snorkeling in your front yard...can't beat that! The pool was also a huge plus...we used it constantly. The house staff was also extraordinary. We felt very safe, secure and spoiled. Would not hesitate to return! The only thing I might do differently next time would be to rent a car. Although taxis are relatively inexpensive, and quite easy to catch due to the resort next door...we ended up spending quite a lot just from the number of times we needed one. Highly recommend taking a sailing trip while on the island...some of the most beautiful snorkeling/diving to be found.

My wife and I and 3 other couples enjoyed this home for a week in June, 2017. As a home, it was fabulous. Each couple had their own space with the layout providing plenty of privacy. The pictures are accurate. Some of the chairs/stools are showing some age, but the AC works and the various seating areas and large kitchen were a hit. The pool table is in good condition and saw plenty of use. The beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. The location is perfect, in my opinion. I clocked 12 minutes driving from the airport to the home, and only about 15-20 minutes to the MEGA store for shopping. We rented two cars which we parked in the home's garage. After testing out multiple beaches around the island, I would argue that the slice of beach immediately outside the home is my favorite. Direct beach access mere steps from the home is absolutely incredible. We had a great time jumping off the pier, swimming, then walking back to the house for more drinks. There's just nothing like waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee with your feet in the ocean, or a classic G+T in the same place as the sun sets. The pool was great, however one thing that was not clearly listed is that the outdoor jacuzzi is NOT heated. So during our stay, the ocean was literally warmer than the jacuzzi. The "hot tub" amenity is a reference to the bath tub in the master bathroom which has jets. This seems to be a thing in the area as I have done more research. Keep this in mind if you, like we were, expecting to enjoy a relaxing hot jacuzzi at night. Upon arrival, Diana communicated promptly and explained the layout and function of the appliances professionally. The on-site staff were great, and the house was regularly cleaned and it was great to have the security guard remember are cars and faces. half the time we didn't even need to bring the garage door opener when we left for town. Remember this is Cozumel, which means that there are mosquitos and other bugs, but that isn't a problem with the home, just with jungle areas in general. Overall, it was amazing, and though I personally was bummed about the un-heated jacuzzi, it was still an incredible vacation spot.

Beautiful house, nice staff, as advertised
ad ab excellent stay. AC blows cold and most everything worked. Nice private yard with direct access to the beach / water. staff and chef were very good.
I would come back to this house.

We loved this house mainly because the beach backyard was amazing!! I've been to Cozumel more than a dozen times and every time I've stayed at the intercontinental presedente hotel which is great but I would have to say that I loved this location more. We spent almost everyday in the backyard jumping from the pool to the beach and loved every second of it. If I have to be honest the house could use a bit of maintenance in appliances i.e. Dishwasher, jacuzzi tub in master bedroom, and BBQ in the backyard but regardless my group had a great time and would come back again.

Outstanding - beyond expectations (Andrew S.)
Magic! The house is better than advertised and right on the beach. It was perfect for a group of 6 people with more than enough space to either hang out together or separate for a bit privacy. The pool was ideal with a shallow part for young kids and a deeper section for adults. One of the best things about the location and definitely undersold, is that it's North of town and away from the Cruise Ship Crowds. It's a perfect location. You can rent scooters right outside the front door from the hotel next door which is all you need to get around the island. Diana our host was friendly, super helpful and really made sure we had the best time possible while we were there. House cleaning is included and is a nice touch and Pilar is lovely. We never heard any noise from the El Cozumeleno Hotel next door or anywhere else for that matter - very private and enjoyable experience. An absolute must is getting in the Private Chef Diana recommends. His name is Chef Antonio - The Anthony's Cuisine - Just outstanding and adds to the overall experience at Casa Santa Pilar. We seriously wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if we return to Cozumel.

We had absolutely the best time. (Lori)
We had the absolute best time at Casa Santa Pilar. The home is exactly as pictured and even more beautiful in person. When we arrived they had the house A/Cs on and the home was spotless. Diana greets us and we arrived early and made sure we were comfortable and explained all the fancy details of the home. Pilar was wonderful and kept the house nice and clean during our stay. Room and bath rooms are very roomy and the closets gorgeous. A/Cs were cold and hot water in the home was hot. The pool is beautiful and the beach, just steps out our door. We spent a lot of time outside of the home too, either at the beach, in the pool or in town. Town is just an 5-8 min ride and cabs are very easy to get. Even though Cozumel is a safe place the added touch of security guards during the night was nice. They were very sweet and made us feel completely safe. Diana was the best. Whatever we needed or any questions we had, at any point in time, she was just a phone call away, and ready to remedy any situation we may have. The staff at the home is the best around. Our flights were delayed multiple times and Diana and Pawel were very helpful in accommodating us if we needed to stay an extra day. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect home!!
Response from Enjoy Cozumel:
Thank you for staying with us Lori! You're welcome back anytime!!

Excellent Home and Location (Jim C.)
Stayed at many properties on Cozumel and this one is on the top 5...maybe top 3. The home is north of town and on the beach. The house itself if beautiful and has four perfect bedrooms, one with two queen beds. There are 5 full bathrooms and they also are way above average. The kitchen is huge and the pool table was great fun. The air conditioner in the house does the job well. The pool, although small, is great for that afternoon adult refreshment. Although the pool boasts a giant hottub....well apparently it does not get hot. The El Cozumeleno Hotel is right next door but never did we hear a peep from the property and the beach in front of the house was empty except for those walking down the beach. Housekeeping was every other day and that was certainly plenty. The house is also well secured with a night watchman. We were very satisfied from start to finish. Diana really makes the stay special...she doesn't lurk but is readily available to solve a problem or answer a question. I am one of those people who add days on the fly and they even do that very well. Rent a car but follow EVERY speed limit. Apparently the new scam is a radar gun and cash payment on the spot on the road. I am a very quick study and learned after the first visit with the roadside justice.

This house is FANTASTIC! I would highly recommend booking it. Everyone makes you feel at home, safe & very well taken care of. The house is exactly as the photos portray. All the communications were quick & helpful. The location is great, close enough to town to be convenient & just far enough away to be quiet & peaceful. We will definitely book again!

“Amazing house for kids!” (TheCortezFamily)
We just left Casa Santa Pilar with 2 families. We had 3 young kids and it was perfect! The pool is close to the beach so the kids could choose where they wanted to play. The staff was amazing! Valentine kept watch, Pilar kept the house so clean, and Antonio did an AMAZING job of keeping our bellies full! Although we did leave the house a few times, we were happiest while we were at the house. The bedrooms are huge, the pool had multiple depths, and the beach was perfect. We highly recommend this house! They will bend over backwards to make your Cozumel experience perfect! Thank you again for giving our family so many wonderful memories!

Beautiful Home (Louise & Glenn1)
Beautiful home in perfect location. 5 minutes from town and far from the crowds. Pictures are exactly what you will expect when you walk through the front door, immaculate, great views and privacy. Could not have expected more. Check in was easy and the information sent to us prior to our arrival answered any questions we may have had. Guido's, Rinaldi's and Cocnuts, great food and atmosphere. Thank you all for a wonderful week!!!

Great house for 7 people (Eirene H.)
Hi, we loved the house and it's space and comfort. All of the contacts associated with the house were extremely responsive and helpful during the planning process and our stay. We were able to walk next door to a hotel to catch a cab any time we needed. The A/C was topnotch! The septic system did start to smell on the 4th day. The washer needs laundry detergent and I couldn't figure out how to use the dryer so I just air dried clothes. Cozumel does not have good restaurants so I highly recommend a chef. Antonio was fabulous, a true chef, not just a cook and we paid for daily maid service and Pillar kept us organized. My three boys under 11 loved the pool and the hot tub which is unusual to find in Mexico so they lived in it.

Great time in Cozumel (Brian H.)
We were very happy with Casa Santa Pilar. The house is beautiful and huge. The pool is very nice and clean. The House was stocked with everything you need. The staff assisting is top notch. We hired Antonio from Cozumel Chef and he was the best, I highly recommend you ask for him.

Happy 18 (Laura Gray2)
We went with another family to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday. It was a perfect place to stay. Location is good. Be sure to eat at the Lobster House which is close by. The house is beautiful as well as the grounds. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (however limited english so be prepared). The hot tub was great but takes a while to warm up because it is huge! Beds were all great. Pretty well stocked with dishes but limited on pots, pans, and sharp knives. The house is as good as the pictures and maybe even better. We loved staying here!!

“Absolutely Stunning!” (A FlipKey verified reviewer)
This house was absolutely stunning! Exactly as shown in the pictures (except maybe even a little better!). We shared the house with another family and there was plenty of space for all of us. The pool was refreshing and well maintained. It was great for kids and adults alike. The hot tub wasn't working while we were there, but they did respond quickly to our call. Unfortunately, the part had to come in from the mainland and they weren't able to repair it while we were there. It would have been nice, but wasn't a big deal. The beach was perfect and just outside of the property. The water is warm, calm and shallow enough for kids to safely play. As someone else mentioned, we had trouble finding the property on the first day. It is immediately to the right of El Cozmuleno resort, which turned out to be perfect. I was a little worried that it would be noisy, but this was not an issue at all. The best part was the cab stand for the hotel ensured there was always a cab available when we wanted to go anywhere. I mean always--even when we left early in the morning to get on the 6:00am ferry to Playa del Carmen. It also made it easy to get back by cab, the drivers all know where the resort is. The staff at the house were professional, helpful and friendly. They saw to all of our needs throughout our stay and made sure that the house was well taken care of inside and out. We also used the chef service one day while we were there, which was also fantastic. The house was absolutely perfect for us. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to vacation. If we ever make it back to Cozumel, we hope to stay here again!

“The Perfect Luxury Getaway” (JDA78701)
We spent our summer holiday at Casa Santa Pilar. The location served as our home base for a family vacation and a fabulous time was had by all, ages 9 to 70. The home is magnificent and absolutely stunning. From the moment we walked through the front door, we were overwhelmed by the beauty, not just of the villa but of its setting right on a gorgeous pristine white sand beach. Casa Santa Pilar is roomy and our party had plenty of space to spread out and still have privacy in our own large bedrooms. The private pool and verandas offer great areas for relaxing, swimming, hot-tubbing, or enjoying the beach and ocean. We all spent quality family time on the veranda, enjoying the spectacular view. Everyone commented about how well the house is furnished, no detail has been overlooked, no expense spared. It truly has a European flair, you will want for nothing. The villa has first class appointments in every area with the kitchen being a gourmet chefs dream. The master suite is enormous and exquisite.
Service is friendly and helpful with 24 hour security. They assisted with everything from carrying luggage to starting a fire on the grill. Our towels and linens were changed every other day, and the house cleaned and refreshed.
We will rent Casa Santa Pilar again for our next family gathering in Mexico, we're already planning to return in December.

“Worth It, Once Found” (Ckktx8)
It was quite difficult for both groups who flew in to find the house as there is no sign or street numbers on Casa Santa Pilar. That being said, the hour search was well worth it once walking through the front doors. The pictures on trip advisor and flip key are exactly what you should expect. The house is beautiful, the staff (2-24 hour guards & maid service) was on point, and the pool and beach access was fantastic.
Just a few notes: 1. The bathtub jacuzzi in the master did not have hot water. 2. Even though the property manager was not confident in snorkeling right off the beach out back, we found it to be better than expected. The water straight from the gate is somewhat dark and non-inviting, but the hotel to the left has crystal clear water and a pier you can walk out on (and jump from). There are quite a few fish to see from that point... especially if you feed them. 3. We used the chef service suggested by the 3rd party that manages this property and it was excellent! Chef Emily runs the operation, but Chef Fernando was our personal chef for breakfast and dinner. He did an OUTSTANDING job. 4. If you do have to drive in circles to find the house - don't be afraid to ask the locals in hotel lobbies. They may send you in the wrong directions a few times, but eventually they will get you there.

“Fantastic Family Vacation” (warmweatherfans)
Casa Santa Pilar was the perfect spot for our family vacation (6 adults and 3 small children). The property was beautiful. The pool and the beach kept the children entertained and the location across from the golf course provided a quick getaway for the adults. The kindness of the on-site employees, and that of Antonio Huerta, the chef we hired, contributed to a fantastic family vacation. We would do it all again.
