Comentarios (43)   julio 28, 2025 Great spot! (Skye L.) Loved it here! Great spot for the family to enjoy Cozumel! We had a 1.5 year old who running around so we had to move some of the beautiful glass and statues out of reach and watch the balcony ledge as she was too keen to want to climb on it. Just something to be aware of. The condo was great, ac worked amazing, appliances were clean and working. I’d recommend the host switch the coffee maker to one that automatically turns itself off after two hours for safety reasons. Beds were comfy and bathrooms all worked. This property is away from noise of the city but close enough to catch a great dinner. We’ve stayed at RR before for scuba diving but this was the first time we brought all the kids. Five children n three adults were comfy and had plenty of space. Will be back!

The amenities are terrific and the home/complex was clean, quiet, safe and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Pools and beach are great, beach clubs a short walk away and away from the cruise ship dock. This unit was huge, big enough for at least 10 people. Deck has a fantastic view of the pool/beach. Big wraparound deck plus the rooftop. Mini splits in each room let you control the temperature to your liking. Kitchen stocked with all the cookware and dinnerware you need. Would definitely stay here again!!!
junio 12, 2024 Excellent Condo at a great price! (Andrea W.) This property was better than pictured. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and wish we could have stayed another week! The view from the wrap around balcony and the rooftop are beautiful, and the infinity pool was perfect and uncrowded for most of our stay. The smaller pool is under construction, so there's only one pool available as of this writing. The showers are plenty hot with great water pressure. The beds were comfortable, and there were more than enough linens/towels for our group of 4 for our stay. The washer/dryer are an added bonus! No coming home with dirty laundry!!! The kitchen is well stocked, and there was plenty of bottled water.
julio 15, 2023 Excellent (Janssen Family) Alex the property manager was the best I I would give him , the maid , and all the guys at the gate 10 stars very nice and very helpful. Oh and dont let the couple on the second floor by the big pool ruin your time. Lol they live there and think they own the whole thing and call security on everyone from what i talked to other residents lol. But the security are very nice too. The breckfast Alex made us our last morning was awsome!!!! And thank you for cleaning our jeep so we didnt have to take a day out of our vacation you guys were the best. And the maid not only cleaned the room but did all our laundry and folded it she is amazing. Everyone there was wonderful
abril 21, 2023 Quiet and relaxing (Kristina H.) Great property! Condo complex is clean and quiet with plenty of lounge chairs on the beach. If you need more excitement,
walk a few mins down the beach to one of the local beach clubs for some food, frozen drinks, and fun. Clean rooms with comfy beds. Lots of nice pluses- for example, you want to float in one of the two pools, no worries, there are rafts waiting in a closet for you. Amazing views with awesome sunsets. It is about 20 mins to downtown via cab- it was around $23 each way. Alex, the property manager, was always available and helpful. Wonderful experience!
abril 4, 2023 Residencias Reef is the place to stay if you want peace (Shannon N) I’ll first mention that this unit is on the top floor (3rd) and there is no elevator. You’ll get your exercise in! But the unit itself was great. Beds and pillows were comfortable, bedding was soft, and there was more than enough room for the 6 of us. The kitchen had all the things you’d need. We had problems figuring out how to use the microwave and oven as it was in Spanish. Ruined a couple frozen pizzas. Ha! The balcony was well used and a great place to chill and have a nice cold glass of wine. The pools were refreshing. The beach chairs and palapas were great. Never had a problem finding a place to sit. The beach was nice, though the water was murky and rocky. Bring beach shoes. I was worried about going to Cozumel over spring break but it was super quiet and peaceful. Most of the people were older and no loud crazy parties or rowdiness. Town is about a 15 minute drive. After 5, many of the restaurants shut down on the south side but there were a few options available. Will definitely stay here again!

Muy amplio, excelente mantenimiento, el mobiliario es de calidad así como los blancos. El condominio es muy lindo y tranquilo, las dos albercas, areas comunes y playa son bellísimos. Recomiendo tener auto alquilado para trasladarse con comodidad, pues esta joya en el caribe está en un area alejada de la ciudad y eso lo hace más exclusivo. Regresaremos sin duda alguna!
 julio 17, 2021 Monarch by the Sea 6300 Cozumel (Richeson) We recently stayed at Monarch by the Sea for 9 nights. It was a beautiful condo with ample space for 8 of us. Condo was equipped with everything we needed. Also, the kitchen was set up perfectly for us to cook at least once a day since condo is about 15 min away from most restaurants. Though, it is close to many beach clubs. Residencia Reefs is the perfect location to go for a safe, relaxing vacation. We’ll definitely stay here next time.

diciembre 31, 2019 Thank you for a great stay! (Jill H) The condo was everything I hoped it would be for my family at Xmas. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kicthen is well sticked if you want to cook. The beds are comfortable and the views are amazing! The property is very nicely kept and the staff at the property manager was very helpful. Even the staff at the gate was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place!
julio 31, 2019 Slice of Paradise (Doyle B) Monarch of the Sea was perfect. The condo is actually much bigger than the pics indicate and exceeded our expectations. Every room is like an oversized hotel room and decorated well with comfy beds. The living space is large with a niced size kitchen that was very well stocked, and even had Tupperware for leftovers. Nice stainless steel appliances,( range and dishwasher switches are in Spanish, fortunately I speak the language). Washer and dryer worked perfectly and with 8 of us there we used them several times a day (once again switches are in Spanish). Has Rheem a/c units in every room that worked great. Each room could control the desired temp which made for a great night sleep for all of us. The view from inside the condo is absolutely amazing. It has glass doors all the way around the condo which can be opened or just raise the blinds to see out. The view from the condo is stunning!! The wrap around porch is amazing!! Literally can go from any room out to the balcony and see the sea. Mornings were our favorite. Ate breakfast on the balcony looking at the beautiful property and sea almost every day. We used the grill several times. The maid service is great. Came twice during our 11 night stay. Alex, the property manager was very nice and answered any questions we had at any time. The guards at the entrance to the property will go out of their way to help you any way they can for a little tip money (getting a taxi, directions, helping with luggage, etc.) Residencias Reef is beautiful and quiet. It has 4 buildings of units but there was hardly anybody there. Almost had the beach to ourselves everyday. They have around 40 beach chairs and 6/7 hatches with chairs under them, never saw more than 2-3 families on the beach. Two pools. We used the one over looking the beach as did most guests. The pools were never crowded and were perfect to cool off after spending a day at the beach. The pool and the beach were immaculately clean. We saw the grounds keepers cleaning the pool daily and raking the beach daily. Residencias Reef property is very clean and quiet. We only had a rental cars for 2 days of our stay and do recommend Fiesta. They delivered the cars to us just outside the airport and picked them up at the condo the next day. When going home, the delivered them to the condo and picked them up just outside the airport. So convenient for us. This condo has everything you need and is absolutely stunning!! Thanks for a great vacation!!
 enero 18, 2019 Perfect secure beach frond condo (Loralei R) The condo was great for our family, very spacious, with a private roof top patio. Love being footsteps away from the beach. It's very convenient being able to book a snorkeling trip and catch the boat from the dock right next to the property. It is our third trip to Residential Reef and have had an amazing experience each time.

junio 1, 2018 (Terri) Anyone who has the pleasure of staying at Monarch by the Sea will fall in love , not just with the property, but also with the people. Everyone from the Guest Manager to the maids, groundskeepers and security team works together to ensure that each guest's experience is exactly what he/she hoped for when arriving at this island paradise. The location is stunning and the complex is perfect for large or small groups who are visiting Cozumel for fun in the sun or for relaxing and enjoying time away from the cares of home. The solarium was one of my favorite parts of the condo itself, but a full-sized kitchen made me feel more like a local during my stay. I highly recommend this property and hope you will enjoy your vacation there as much as I did!

diciembre 31, 2017 (Laurence Rilett) As advertised. Excellent rental - 3 bedrooms/3 baths and lots of room. Kitchen was well stocked and double deck was great. Perfect views of oceans. There were six of us and lots of room. Alex was a great help. Small issue was the upstairs jacuzzi could not be filled with hot water -- for us a very minor issue and one that we did not pursue with management.

diciembre 21, 2017 Perfect property for family diving trip!
(Cameron M) This was our third time to stay at the Residencias Reef and this condo was by far our favorite! The living area and rooms were spacious and the views from the upper deck are incredible. We really like the convenience of catching the dive boat from the dock in front of the Secrets Resort - but beware - the management at Secrets is trying to collect $2.00 from each person every time he/she gets on or off a boat (which adds up for a large group). According to our dive master, this isn't legal but unfortunately, it may discourage us from staying at the Residencias Reef in the future.

Clean, well appointed, kitchen had several cooking items (salt, pepper, oil, seasonings, dish soap and dishwasher detergent, etc.) Condo facility very comfortable and safe (24 hour security at gate). Pool areas are really nice. Good beach. Water has several rocks so be careful. Boat pickup at the Secrets dock. There is a washer and dryer (detergent included) which was really nice. Pleanty of deck space with a gas grill and several tables and chars to eat on. One recommendation would be to rent a car if you plan on moving around the island.
junio 30, 2017 Perfect condo ... excellent service!! (Marlis W.) From the beginning ... our communication with the property management via email prior to arrival was outstanding!! They answered ALL questions promptly, offered perfect grocery delivery service, rental car arrangements, excellent personal chef (Fernando), and scuba diving arrangements (Alberto)! PLUS, we had Alex ...his excellent management was SOOOOO very attentive on WhatsApp. He answered SO promptly and with enthusiasm! He suggested the best local Mexican family restaurant!! Amazing!! He will be able to suggest anything, everything and take care of ALL your needs! We traveled with another couple and their 2 children ... so, this 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom condo was perfect! Everyone was attentive and so helpful. Condo was spacious, well equipped, perfectly furniture, washer and dryer, beautiful sunsets from the top deck, 2 pools and private beach steps away. Thank you SO much for all you kindness and everything ... we had a fabulous time!!!
 enero 1, 2017 “WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN” (tinalee725) I've been to Residencias Reef a few times & have always loved it. Never any issues & places were pristine & as advertised.....until now. We stayed here 1/1/17-1/8/17. This condo although nicely laid out was not as advertised. Although it did have a rooftop Jacuzzi tub as described, it was not clean and the drain was broken so you could not fill it up, that and we did not have hot water to fill it up for the 1st 3 days of our stay. YES, NO HOT WATER FOR 3 DAYS. The hot water heater malfunctioned & could not be repaired until parts replaced & serviced. Showers were painful. In addition the WiFi & free internet phone that this property was to have, was broken. Made my work life hell & had to drive all the way into town daily to find WiFi to get work done. This was not repaired until 2 days before we left. Also, a lot of light bulbs not working in the recessed lighting in the ceilings....I could barely see what I was doing in the bathroom to take a shower & could not find a ladder & light bulbs to change it. Tiles were broken and unglued on rooftop deck....basically...this property needs some work & it does not seem like anyone really does a thorough job of keeping it up. I emailed owners & dealt with property Manager, Alex, who was very attentive but seemed very surprised that there were so many issues wrong with this property. I am sure this could have all been avoided if thorough walk throughs were done before & after each group has left. I asked for a partial refund for this stay, which I have NEVER done in my life....they seem to be thinking about it but I am not counting on it.....although in good conscience they should have offered on their own without hesitation. The whole vacation, which was well needed, was not what we were all hoping & we will never rent this property again because of it. Do not assume all the other units are like this one. They aren't. They are all individually owned & other owners I've previously dealt with bent over backwards to make your stay perfect.

agosto 1, 2016 Great Condo (Susan M.) We stayed at the condo August 13-20 and had a great time very quiet place nice beach setting. It was easy to get to the condo and convient to get to places. The beds were very comfortable we had a group of 5 and everyone had their room and bathroom with of plenty of space. It was nice having two pools to choose from and when you come off the beach to get the salty feel off. I recommend this condo to anyone wishing to go to Cozumel.

mayo 1, 2016 (Erika) Monarch By The Sea (RR6300) is an amazing condo!! The photos don't fully reflect how wonderfully spacious & how relaxed you will be in this unit. We are a group of 6 adults - scuba lovers enjoying Cozumel - and non of us ever felt a lack of privacy! Each room & bathroom was exactly as described. The water pressure was excellent, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of extra towels. FYI - there was hairdryer provided (not on posting). The local Management staff was very responsive and friendly. Several extra large bottles of water (for dispenser) were delivered for our group. Beach clubs nearby were a quick walk for daytime meals (by 4pm) and we also made use of the grocery delivery service suggested. The kitchen had an abundance of cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. for use. If you want a fabulous place to stay in Cozumel, it doesn't get better than this condo! Terrific beach front, pools, and great dock access for dive boat pick-ups daily. We loved this space & will definitely be back again soon!
octubre 1, 2015 (Sarah) We loved our stay here. The unit is incredible. It it were the building directly on the beach, I would give this five stars. The interior was spacious - palatial really, and was decorated tastefully. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment, coffee maker, etc., and the bathrooms had an abundance of beach towels, blow dryer, etc.
We loved the location. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cozumel other than Residencies Reef. I dove two days... and walking 3 minutes to the dive dock was so convenient. The beach was nice although if you're going to swim here I would suggest bringing water shoes - it's rocky right up to the shore and a little painful to get past. The sunsets from the beach were fantastic, the pools are great, the grounds are nicely manicured.
My parents joined me on this trip and they plan to come back again sometime for a few weeks. It was easy, nice, luxurious and a great experience.
diciembre 31, 2014 (Martha) We had a great time. Reef 6300 is amazing. Comfortable, modern and clean. But most importantly, it was spectacularly spacious. Pictures don't do justice. Beautiful view. Peaceful private grounds and a very responsive crew. I highly recommend this place. The beach it self needed some upkeep, but weather can impact that. Just to give some background, I was skeptical of using Airbnb, but this space's management staff are reliable and trustworthy.
diciembre 16, 2014 Perfect Spot in Cozumel (Sam G.) Traveled with a group of 6 to Cozumel and the condo was absolutely perfect. Lots of common space, comfortable bedrooms, and all the amenities you could need in Cozumel. The property manager checked in multiple times to see if we had any questions or need anything. Short drive from downtown but far enough South to enjoy the Residencia Reef's beach and everything the beach clubs offer.
noviembre 30, 2014 (Baris) We had a great time at Pawel's place, Monarch by the Sea! The pictures really do not do this place justice. The apartment was very large, clean and very comfortable. Perfect for families or groups traveling with friends. With floor to ceiling glass windows and doors on two sides, the living-room practically basks in natural light. We would open up both sides every morning and feel the sea fresh breeze coming through. It was a great way to start each day. The description was fully accurate and we loved being able to be picked up for our (scuba- and snorkel-) tours right in front the condo on the beach (there is a pier that smaller boats use). We enjoyed the peace and quiet from being away from the town, but went there for several dinners as it was only a 10-15 minute drive away. There are also several lunch/dinner options on the beach. A welcoming folder had useful recommendations, tips and details. Bathrooms and kitchen had everything that we needed (clean towels, soap, cooking ware and utensils, dish soap, etc.) which made it easy for us. Communications with Pawel was seamless. He sent us several useful PDF documents with helpful information before we arrived in Cozumel. Check-in and out process was quick and easy with no wait involved. I am already contemplating a return to Cozumel and if available, will definitively stay at this condo again!
octubre 16, 2014 “Beautiful condo with an even view and setting.” (hoot_13) Stayed in monarch by the sea as a quiet and relaxing vacation. Ended up being just what the group wanted. Very spacious with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, large outdoor seating and rooftop area with a hot tub. Kitchen was very well stocked, plenty of beach towels 2 pools and a great beach.
enero 3, 2014 “Perfect!” (Jill B) We spent a week at Monarch by the Sea and loved it! Our condo was absolutely gorgeous, unbelievably spacious and right on the beach. We had beautiful views from our 2 huge balconies and spent a lot of time on the roof at night. The photos of Monarch do not do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised!
One of the best things about Residencias Reef is their beach. It is huge and has plenty of beach chairs for lounging. But it is not crowded like some of the other beaches in that area. Also, we were within walking distance to Carlos & Charlies, and also right next door to a dock for snorkeling and parasailing excursions.
The condo had everything we needed - a complete kitchen, satellite TV, Ipod Speaker, washer & dryer, AC outlets so no converters were necessary, and plenty of towels.
Residencias Reef is a beautiful area with a snorkeling reef right off the beach. Very convenient. The condo is gated and we felt extremely safe.
I would totally recommend Monarch by the Sea and Residencias Reef to our family and friends. Margaret at Enjoy Cozumel was great to work with - made it so easy for us to reserve the condo and provided a ton of information that made our trip much more relaxing and fun. We are already thinking about our next trip to Cozumel and will definitely be staying at Monarch by the Sea.
diciembre 30, 2013 “Great condo for divers” (Lone Wolf) Large condo was clean and well equipped. Beach is not crowded. Nice view from rooftop deck. Great place for divers. Walk 100 m to the pier and be picked up by the dive boats for a short ride to the southern reefs.
Note that the jacuzzi is not typical of those found is the us. It is more like a large bathtub. It does not have it's own water heater and the supply of hot water from the condo is insufficient to fill it.
julio 9, 2013 “great luxury condo” (A FlipKey verified reviewer) Great luxury condo. 3 bed and 3 bath with probably 2000 sq of living space. All the amenities one can think of including full kitchen. Satellite TV and us phone. Huge balcony with view of pool and partial view of ocean. Private beach area never crowded. Very quiet and away from all the tourist traps. Can walk to beach clubs with water toys. highly recommend it. would suggest
1) must rent a car. 15-20 min from downtown where all the restaurants are located.
2) loved parilla mission, san carlos pescaderia and el billy asado grill. Del Sur Empanada and El Moro somewhat overrated.
junio 21, 2013 “Paradise in Cozumel” (BubbaP P) Overall this property is excellent, my Very Good rating is due to the fact that the local contact "Alex" who was to help us setup excursions, etc... left on vacation the day after we arrived. We did speak to Alex briefly with the assurance that his backup would contact us Monday at 10am....this never happened.
Now for the good news. This condo is very spacious with an excellent wrap around porch with plenty of seating. We had seven in our party and the open concept of the condo works very well. Condo is equipped with Satellite TV, high speed WiFi "which kept everyone connected to Facebook", washer/dryer and a fully functional kitchen and a webber gas grill.. This condo is on the third floor so be sure you can handle the 48 steps, but the height really enhances the view.
The Residencia Reef complex is very nice, 24 hr security "both at the gate and making patrols of the area", two pools and plenty of seating at the beach. Wifi is also available on the beach and at least one of the pools and the sunsets are quite beautiful.
Although Alex was not available, about 100 yards north on the beach was a booth that could handle all your needs for water sports. We used them for parasailing and deep sea fishing "which was a blast"...
I would recommend renting a car if you stay here because you are about 6 miles north of town and when you go for gas be sure to have cash, no credit cards accepted. We did the majority if our grocery shopping at MEGA which is downtown and is more like a super Walmart that has both groceries and everything else.
We hope you enjoy Cozumel as much as we did and we recommend Monarch by the Sea for your stay....in closing I also wanted to mention that we felt very safe on our entire trip and no one got the stomach bug...
abril 1, 2013 “Amazing place in Cozumel!” (A FlipKey verified reviewer) We where very plesantly surprised by how big and beautiful this condo was! So spacious, loved the floor to ceiling glass doors. Amazing view! The house is very well equiped and beautifully decorated! Loved the phone so we could keep in touch with out kids. Bathrooms were beautiful and we loved having our own bathrooms in each room! Location is great. Not too far from down town. Maybe a 7 min drive. I would definatly come and stay here again!
enero 3, 2013 “Cozumel Stay 12-29-12 thru 1-1-13” (A FlipKey verified reviewer) Condo located in Bldg #2. Quiet location with nice views and easy access. Great location for divers. Easy access to the pier for boat pick up. Convenient private rinse tank on the property near one of the 2 heated pools. Great security at the complex. Excellent location, nice beach, close to the reefs. Complex is adjacent to Secrets and Sabor but still very quiet the way the buildings are set on the site. Stayed in another condo in the complex for 7 other days. Very clean and well managed.
octubre 8, 2012 “Calm and relaxing environment” (Mikachuu) If youre looking for a place that has great authentic Mexican food, amazing scenery, and good hospitality, this is it. When we first got there, we were greeted by employees that helped carry our luggage and anything else we needed. From that point on they left us alone and we could call them when we wanted. The condo and beach as a whole is not like your typical resort. It is very quiet and serene, and you will rarely have more than 10 people on the beach. Sometimes it feels like your completely alone on the island. Scuba diving and snorkeling are a must when you stay here. There were at least 500 different types of fish and sea life in the water. Food is really tasty as well. You should actually go into the town for dinner tho. The best restaurants are the ones the locals go to. Try Los otates out, it's a really delicious taco place. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend it for couples, families, or for single travelers.
octubre 4, 2012 “Fantastic!!!” (lucy) This is a fabulous large condo in which we enjoyed so much with our friends and families.
Each bedroom is spacious with private bathroom and balcony that has amazing water view. We enjoyed breakfast in the balcony overlooking the water, lunch indoor with the aC while enjoying the view of the ocean, and margarita and wine in the solarium with the majestic sunset. The condo is beachfront and the snorkeling and water is out of this world.
