 febrero 8, 2023 Fantastic Condo!! Fantastic Location!!! Fantastic Everything!!! (CapeCodLew) Casa Bonita is everything you need for a totally relaxing vacation: access to two pools, sandy beach, rooftop solarium, beautiful deck for meals and reading. Cozumel has many places to choose from, but you cannot go wrong with Enjoy Cozumel and their locations. Alex, the property manager is a great guy, willing to do almost anything to see that you have a great vacation. Marta, the housekeeper, makes sure that everything is clean and ready to go. The condo itself is fully equipped -- the only thing I think it needs is more furniture on the rooftop solarium. There are only four lounge chairs, so a small table with some chairs would make the solarium more welcoming. This, however, is not a deal-breaker. What is truly amazing is how much is put into making sure the pools, the beach, and the grounds are in great condition -- every morning a crew rakes the beach, cleans the pools, and then start mowing, raking, etc. In all of my travels I have never seen this attention to detail. My only regret is that I can only give 5 stars! We have stayed in several units at Residencias over the years, and while all of them have been super, we are choosing to go back to Casa Bonita next year. In fact, we are extending our time there to three weeks!!! Keep up the good work Enjoy Cozumel, Alex, and Marta. Looking forward to 2024!!! Only 347 days..... but who is counting????
octubre 24, 2022 Quick Getaway (Mandy H.) This property was perfect for a quick getaway. My husband loves to dive, and could easily get on his dive boat right next door at the Secrets dock. I love to sit on the beach and enjoy the peace. We have stayed at this condo complex before, but this condo was amazing and better than the ones we have tried in the past. Very clean, spacious, and well stocked. We would love to stay here again.

enero 31, 2022 Presidents Reef (Mike K) Everything was clean and easy check in as well. It is a 25$ cab ride each way so i recommend getting a jeep for the stay. Grab all the food you need for the stay as well.
enero 4, 2022 Another great stay (bvfitz) This is one of our favorite units at RR in Cozumel. It is quite a ways to the beach, but has a nice pool close and a great view. Having an elevator in the building is also a big plus. The unit is spacious and clean with good AC in nearly every room. The veranda is beautiful with a nice day bed for a nap in the afternoon. The kitchen has everything we needed, as well. Be aware that there is no US-based cable TV.
 diciembre 20, 2021 Fantastic place to stay! (Chad) We spent the holidays in the Residencias Reef penthouse. The place is well kept and comfortable. This is a condominium complex with a lot of other families and we had a good time hanging at the pool. The bedrooms are large, beds are comfortable. and bathrooms are clean.
There is an area on the roof but only 4 sun chairs up there, so we did not spend much time up there.
The beach is well kept, but a little bit rocky. The location is good, but I would recommend getting renting a car to get around as there are not a lot of food options within walking distance.

abril 20, 2020 Everything we could ask for! (Josette K) This was our first visit to Cozumel and we were looking for a place that had a resort feel, quiet setting, pool, beach and snorkel access. Casa Playa Bonita at Residencias Reef fit the bill perfectly. The kitchen was well-equipped for most of our cooking needs, there is a nice grill on the deck (but we couldn’t find grilling equipment), both bedrooms have access to the covered deck & the elevator came in handy when we had larger loads to haul. We treated ourselves to a chef prepared dinner one evening through Cozumel Chef, a suggestion from our introductory literature; very enjoyable. All of the staff at Residencias Reef are exceptionally helpful and friendly! We booked a snorkel excursion one day & as other’s have noted, the dock we were picked up at was right next door at Secrets; the fact that we didn’t have to go into town for that was a big plus! The island was shutting down it’s tourist related services just at the time we checked out; in fact we were likely among the last guests at the complex. Would we rent there again? In a heartbeat!

) This was our third time in Cozumel, and our first time at Casa Playa Bonita. The whole property was lovely, with its own beach and two very nice pools. The unit was fantastic as well, with large, comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Our days started with coffee at the outdoor dining area, my spouse spent his mornings diving with an outfit conveniently located five minutes away, I greatly enjoyed the outdoor bed for reading and napping, and then every evening we watched the sun set, cocktails in hand, either on the forward pool deck or on our private roof deck. Cannot recommend this property highly enough

diciembre 31, 2019 Wonderful condo! (Docinden) We (a family of 4 with 2 teens) just returned from a wonderful stay in Unit 7230 in Residencias Reef. Could not have asked for a better condo - on the 3rd floor, with a rooftop from which you could watch the wonderful sunsets. The condo was spacious, clean, with a well outfitted kitchen, and good wifi (for the teens). All the staff we met were friendly and kind, and the guest manager, Alex, was extremely helpful in helping us get set up, and made sure we got to our ferry on our last day (which was a holiday) on time.
The condo complex has it's own private beach and 2 pools. We never lacked for lounge chairs, and the beach had some reef that we could snorkel in. It is on the south part of the island - away from the touristy center of town. It was quiet and peaceful, and a great place for families. We did rent a car, which was helpful in going out to dinner downtown, getting groceries at the MEGA, and visiting the beaches on the east side of the island.

diciembre 1, 2019 The perfect place to stay on Cozumel (KobusReyneke) The apartment exceeded all of our expectations. The booking agent Isaac's recommendation and description was perfect and the service he provided was impeccable.
The apartment is very large, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The view is great, furniture nice, etc. You can't expect much better than this. The two pools are great, the beach was raked daily and the chairs always ready.
The beach is nice and you can stroll along it past the all-inclusive resorts to the north and the beach club to the south.
The staff, including the gate keepers, maid and manager were amazing. Friendly, competent and nice.
Because there is no restaurant on premises and I had no interest in eating at the adjacent beach club, this apartment is for people who would like to cook and travel downtown to taste the local joints.
Downtown is 20 minutes away and the Mega store served us well. We loved eating in the little local restaurants serving amazing tortillas. Love, love, love the local people and the tiny restaurants. Totally avoided the overpriced tourist restaurants and bars and the beach clubs.
Driving to the east coast beaches are a must, but the bars are only good for drinks. Food is overpriced and mediocre.

The outdoor covered deck was our favorite place to hang with it's grill and dining table. I would recommend Pawel's place. It was a very comfortable place for my family for our 10 day vacation!

enero 6, 2019 Spacious with everything you will ever need! (Karen RH) We had a wonderful vacation at this spacious, well equipped condo. Alex met us and explained anything we needed to know, entry and exit is a lock box which makes life easy. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, good cookware and lots of dishes and glassware. The washer and dryer are a must for us and was available in the condo. Great views, comfy beds, big TV and right at the pier for diving. Couldn't have been more convenient for us. I would recommend this lovely unit, the grounds are lovely too!

This was our 2nd time staying in this beautiful condo and our 5th time staying at the amazing Residencias Reef community. marzo 31, 2018 Awesome!! Spring Break 2018 (Mike P) This condo is amazing. The views from all rooms, patio and roof top are breathtaking. From the full kitchen to the dinning/living room everything is beautiful. For a family of 6 we couldn't have chosen a better place. The kids loved the pools and the very well kept private beach. With a 2 minute walk to Carlos and Charlie's on the beach where we could shop, drink, eat and the kids could do water activities. The taco stand 100yards out the front gate to the left was amazing authentic food and very inexpensive. Going into town via a taxi for the six of us cost $30US each way, so we went very little and we really didn't need to. We used Chef Emily's service to have groceries delivered the day we arrived and we only needed to run to the Mega for a few essentials (beer) half way thru our week long vacation. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone. Best spring break vacation 2018!!
noviembre 1, 2017 “Very Nice Ocean Front Condo”
(Scott B) The pictures are accurate, it's a great condo. It on the south end of the island so it's about a 15 minute cab ride from the ferry terminal. There are a few beach clubs within a short, easy walk down the beach. One thing to note, everything closes around 6:00 PM so there really is nothing in walking distance for dinner, you'll have to drive or cab. We opted to stop at Mega (great grocery store) and cook most of our dinners in the condo, same for breakfast. It worked great, the condo had everything we needed including an electric grill. A couple of quirks, nobody met us at the condo when we first arrived, like they advertise. The TV does not work, not a huge deal but we had 3 kids with us so would have been nice. Once the sun went down the mosquitoes at the pool were so bad you couldn't use it. We saw people spraying an insecticide but it didn't do much. Overall, I would recommend it.

(Kay C) The Cozumel ocean view condo was excellent. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the sunsets were awesome whether on the beach or on the condo deck.
The condo was very clean and well maintained. We had two couples and each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The rooms were separated by the family room creating privacy.
We would definitely rent this condo again!!!!

The condo is beautifully decorated with extremely comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, and bottled water jugs. We recommend this refreshing, comfortable condo to relax all day or after an all day snorkel tour, and enjoy sipping your favorite beverage on the rooftop terrace watching the sun set in the mild Caribbean breeze. The manager, Alex, as most helpful as well.

marzo 29, 2016 An Enjoyable Stay (Kirk O) The location of Residencias Reef is perfect for beach activities and scuba diving. The grounds are very well kept and the pools are great. The two bedroom unit is ideal for 2 couples with two master suites. The beds are very comfortable. On the negative side, the televisions could certainly use some upgrading. Overall a great stay and would rent this unit again.

octubre 31, 2015 Beautiful (Diana n) This property is very beautiful, spacious and comfortable for a very reasonable cost. The views are gorgeous and it is a very short walk to the sandy beach. There is a small coral reef close to the shore reasonable for beginner snorkelers. We really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space despite the weather: the patio and the sun deck with hot tub on the rooftop. We came during the rainy season and the only concern was excess mosquitoes on the property, but this is likely to be related to the weather more than property management; the amount of rain pouring on daily basis was astonishing. The staff at the property was extremely nice and helpful. You will need a vehicle to go to the town for shopping if you decide to cook yourself. The kitchen has all the basics: we shopped at local supermarket and ate at home as we came with a 3 mo old baby.
My other small comment is that the furniture was polished with some oily substance with a bit of excess so all the handles were oily but that was an easy fix. We could easily get in touch with the manager by phone or email if we needed anything. I would definitely like to come back again.
septiembre 30, 2015 Loved this place (Tim b) Loved staying here, close to the beach, two pools (non salt) close to the condo and we could rent jet ski's, snorkel out by the pier which was a blast. There is a food place right down the beach where we could get food and drinks easily if we didn't want to have to drive. The drive into town was easy! Loved laying out on the beach late at night. We were able to be picked up at the pier for snorkeling and fishing trips. Caught 2 Mahi Mahi's one was 40 pounds. It's a perfect get away place to relax, enjoy the pools and take a dip in the salt all within an easy walk and just a couple minutes. The view from the Balcony is spectacular! Easily able to travel around the Island from here. I would definitely stay here again. This place is awesome!

marzo 31, 2015 A great location right on San Francisco Beach! (Peter E. ) This unit was a good fit for our group of two couples. We chose it as it was one of very few places we could find with two king sized beds with separate bathrooms.
The property was clean and in decent shape for upkeep - the grounds terrific.
Our daily cleaning service did a wonderful job, and the other staff throughout the property very friendly.
Minor complaint the tub on the roof. We filled the tub on our second day to have a cooling pool available - there is no heater in the unit, and only one circulation pump works. The tub was emptied and we chose not to refill - it really wasn't usable.
Kitchen was well equipt and we prepared several meals there.
The elevator to the third floor was a great bonus.
The view from the roof as well as the balcony were fantastic.
We would definitely return.
febrero 28, 2015 Beautiful view (Karla F. ) We have stayed in several different units at Residencias Reef over the past several years, it is a beautiful property and well maintained. Unit 7320 has a perfect view of the water, beach, pools and the solarium allows for nightly star gazing.
This unit is equipped with all of the basic necessities but we did have to purchase a few extras: umbrella (it rained a bit during our month stay), ice chest for the beach, and a couple of kitchen utensils that we like to have when staying extended periods. It is not unusual for us to purchase these type items as each condo is equipped differently.
Only three complaints:
It is time for new towels and washcloths! Stained, ripped and dingy white :(
TV channels lacking which is really only a problem if you happen to be visiting during a rainy period.
Hot tub is not usable.
Would I rent this unit again? Absolutely!!

junio 30, 2014 Perfecto! (Lindi F. ) We recently stayed in two units at Recidencias Reef for a wedding that we attended in Cozumel. We moved to this unit after our Nanny arrived, and it was almost too big for the nanny, my husband, myself and our young son. But we loved having the space. Breakfast on the patio every morning! And plenty of room to sunbath while a baby is napping! We loved this property!

Great Quiet Place
(Aurora) Overall my wife and I were very happy with this unit. We arrived in a rental car and had to show rental paperwork to get through the guard gate. After that we were waved through with a smile. I thought that was good security. Parking was always available outside the building. The rental car was indispensable for us as we traveled into the city to dive shops and grocery store, to restaurants to eat and to the east side of the island to explore.
We were in Building 2, Unit 7320. We wanted a quiet place to stay and this was it. It appeared to us that most of the residents were over 50 or under 6 and also wanting a friendly and more subdued experience. The two pools were clear, clean and warm. The beach area had plenty of lounge chairs. You can snorkel of the beach but definitely need foot protection. On the north side of the property is Secrets Aura Hotel. They have a pier which can also be used to enter the water or for dive/snorkel boat pickup. I went diving 3 days and snorkeling one day with my wife. I used Paradise Dive for a refresher dive followed by two drift dives and they were excellent. We used Mystic Snorkel for our snorkeling trip. Both companies were excellent and the diving/snorkeling were outstanding.
The unit was large but sparsely furnished. The free internet worked well. We did not make use of the hot tub on the top floor but the view is great. We made all our breakfasts and some other meals in the kitchen which had adequate utensils. The unit really needs to have some paper towels to clean up spills around the kitchen. We ended up buying our own Kleenex and paper towels. We also had a minor problem with tiny ants on the bathroom floor. We did not complain as we decided it was better to put up with a few ants than the insecticide that would have been used to eradicate them.
We would definitely recommend this unit to those wishing a laid back, quiet experience and we hope to return in the near future.
