| Descripción Uno de los pocos condominios penthouse de 2 dormitorios ubicados en Residencias Reef, Casa Gonzales no le defraudará. Con espectaculares vistas al mar, la playa, a las dos piscinas de Residencias Reef, un jacuzzi en la azotea, televisores de pantalla plana en cada habitación y cómodos muebles en la terraza, el apartamento es perfecto para una o dos parejas o una familia que viajen con niños.
Ambas habitaciones dan al este y ofrecen excelentes vistas al mar, sobre todo al atardecer y al mismo tiempo permite sólo la cantidad perfecta de luz de sol de la mañana para dormir cómodamente.
El dormitorio principal, es accesible desde la sala a través de una serie de puertas francesas, tiene una cama king size, baño privado con ducha y acceso a la terraza frente al mar. El segundo dormitorio, que se encuentra justo enfrente, también tiene un baño privado, pero con una combinación de bañera / ducha y dos camas queen size.
El gran espacio común entre los dormitorios se abre directamente a la terraza y cuenta con un cómodo sofá en forma de L, un centro de entretenimiento con un televisor de 42" de pantalla plana con cable, reproductor de DVD y un teléfono con número de Estados Unidos con llamadas gratuitas a los EE.UU. y Canadá.

marzo 1, 2017 Great Place to Get Away From It All!
(Amy S.) We had an amazing time at Residencias Reef Resort. Close enough to the action if you wanted yet far enough away to catch some peace and quite. The condo was very clean with all the amenities if you wanted to cook, have a cocktail or sit and drink your coffee and enjoy the view. Pasty was very prompt in answering questions and filling us in with all the needed info to find our way around.
We rented a car so we could come and go as we wanted. Ate at many amazing restaurants, drove to the east-side of the island twice, and enjoyed the clean and quite beach at the condo. The snorkeling was amazing . The sunsets at the beach were incredible too.
Isabelle gave the most amazing massages on the upper terrace-best we have ever had!
The People of Cozumel, both at the condo, and elsewhere on the island could not have been any nicer and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

(Tamara N.) We contemplated staying at Residencias Reef vs a resort and we were SO happy we chose RR. The condo was spacious and so clean it gleamed. Everything was very comfortable and we were in need of nothing. They even provide filtered water! The lady who came to do our cleaning every day (Conchita) was so nice and did an amazing job. There is a HUGE patio AND a giant roof top area for watching the sunsets and stars. We felt so spoiled there. The beach is a short walk (few minutes) from the condo and is a nice, quiet little slice of heaven with plenty of comfy chairs and it was always quiet and never crowded. The water was gentle and beautiful turquoise. The eve of our anniversary we had Raina come to make us a home cooked meal - the garlic shrimp - and it was the very best meal we had there. Absolutely delicious and such a treat!! We had our 21 month old daughter with us and she loved the beach, pools and ocean! There is plenty of activity nearby, such as Alberto's and Carlos and Charlie's if you're looking for a fun night out. We did some going out, some cooking at the condo, and visited several other beaches (Chankunaab - great snorkeling-, Punta Sur, and Playa Mia). We loved the flexibility we had here to eat when and what we wanted and take life at our own pace. We achieved true relaxation. If you're on the fence about staying here, book it. You won't regret it!!! Thanks for a wonderful stay; we will be back!!

enero 1, 2017 Cozumel Gem (Marilyn S.) My family & I LOVED Casa Gonzalez. We were traveling with a 15 month old so we wanted a condo with plenty of space & spacious bedrooms. This condo was PERFECT! Great view of the beach, ocean & two beautiful pools of the Residencias Reef. The Enjoy Cozumel contacts were very responsive to any of our needs. Would highly recommend!

(Anonymous) The unit was proved to be more than expected. We were 4 adults and had plenty of room; and the private solarium was an added bonus! Not a concern for not being "right on the beach" as you could see it, and walk right to it! A spectacular overview of the whole complex. I understand it was the only building of the 4-that had an elevator-so worked out great for one of our people!
 junio 1, 2016 Excellent Property Will Definitely be back again. (Kim H.) The staff & condo were great!!! Highly recommend having Veronica cook a meal for you it was excellent! Any issues were addressed immediately. Only disappointment was that we had to leave early at 11:00am on departure date because they took an incoming rental for the day we were leaving.
febrero 22, 2016 Fantastic Place for our Cozumel Vacation
(Michael) Our family (2 + 2 kids) just stayed at Casa Gonzales for 10 days, and had a fantastic trip. We go to Cozumel twice a year and it was the first time for us to stay on this part of the island. We didn't realize how roomy the place would be and we had an incredible view from the rooms and decks of the Residencias Reef pools and beach. The unit is wonderfully furnished and has great appliances, cookware, etc - all that we needed for our stay. Residencias Reef is a short walk to Carlos & Charlies and Paradise Beach which was great option for lunch, and a reasonable drive to downtown for dinners and shopping. A nice benefit too was being able to have our dive company's boat pick us up right at the pier right next to the property. I would highly recommend Casa Gonzales for a Cozumel vacation.
enero 12, 2016 Loved this property for two couples (Cheri W.) We've been to Cozumel about 15 times; always staying in our own time share. This year we decided to try the Reef residencias. This unit is a jackpot! Yes, it's in the furthest out building, but it has an elevator and great views and there is no bad buildings here! It's right next to the first heated pool and about 100 yards from the ocean. We saw an iguana in the tree eating flowers one day
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans and cooking utensils you will need to chef up gourmet meals if you so choose. It comes with a third floor open area that is wonderful for lunch or star gazing. There is also a washer and dryer on the third floor that were a big help with our wet gear prior to leaving.
The bedrooms are spacious and both rooms are pretty equal so it's easy to share with both couples feeling like they have a good room.
The porch is spacious and a great place to enjoy your morning cuppa.
We will definitely consider coming back!
 marzo 5, 2015 “Very Nice Place, But Has Issues!” (Craig B) As stated in other reviews, the advertising that it has a Roof Top Jacuzzi is one of the problems. It has not worked in quite a while and stated from the onsite manager there is no intentions to fix it. That was a selling point for us!
Next issue is the maid service or lack thereof. We would be gone all morning diving every day until 1:30ish. Right when we'd like to come back and take a warm shower and get ready for lunch, guess who would show up on time every day. After letting them know that that we would need some time before we could leave it would be the same thing the next day. Then we were not sure what they did. Certainly wasn't make up our bed or sweep the floor.
Our last issue was that they decided to make repairs to our stair way to the roof top on the last day we were there. Not sure why it could not have been set up after we were gone. But the site manager chose to do it the afternoon and evening that we were cooking in and had a great evening planned at the condo. Not the case when you have chain saws and constant hammering on the balcony cutting lumber for the stairs. Then having the construction crew coming through your dining room carrying equipment as we were trying enjoy dinner.
There are plenty of good things with the condo though. We enjoyed having a well equipped kitchen. The condo was very nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable. The view is great and the grounds and pool areas are well kept. The condo is located just right to be out of town and away from the cruise ship crowds.
So we just probably hit the wrong time. The owners did try to make it up to us with a small refund. Not enough to take the sour taste away from what we paid for our vacation to have issues like we did.
enero 22, 2015 “All the amenities you need for a tropical escape with friends” (octoberitaly) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Gonzales. The Residencias Reef condo complex is south of town on a nice stretch of beach next to some all inclusive resorts and Carlos and Charlie's. We were looking for a low key place where we could enjoy the sun and water without blaring music and partygoers. This was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone in the condo, especially enjoyed the beautiful deck and private upper deck. The jacuzzi does not work but I suppose one could still bathe in the tub without the jets. We asked the owner to remove that from the description. Otherwise, The condo has everything you would need, from beach towels to every kitchen appliance you would need, as well as tea and cooking oil and salt and pepper, to a DVD player with a random video selection. Great that the condo is accessible via electronic code as we did not have to take keys to the beach. There are two beautiful pools. The beach waves seemed a little rough but the sand was great and sunsets beautiful. Remember to stock up in town on food as there is nothing within walking distance. Neighbors at the pool were very friendly. Nearby beach clubs were great! Saved money by staying at condo but true benefit was the peaceful atmosphere. All the staff were very helpful. Maid service six days a week. Water bottles in condo. The management company was very responsive to our needs and rectified a problem with the car rental quickly.
diciembre 5, 2014 “Great place to relax and enjoy the Island” (Jan720) We loved our visit to Casa Gonzales!
The Condo itself is very clean and comfortable. Being on the 3rd floor gave us an incredible view all day long. The upper floor rooftop was a great place to gather and gave us a little extra room to hang out and get some sun. We were traveling with our adult children. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us to relax without feeling cramped. Having the laundry in the condo is certainly a plus. Water pressure in the showers was better than expected and the beds were comfortable. ( I have stayed in other places in Cozumel where the beds were too hard to sleep on )
Residencia Reef is a fantastic condo community. The grounds are well maintained including the beach, which recieves a daily raking to get rid the shoreline of seaweed. All the staff were very pleasant. It was easy to walk up and down the beach. There are lots of rocks in the water, its not an easy entry point for swimming. (but again, in other Cozumel locations this was the same situation) The two pools are very clean and great place to sunbathe.
Nearby, are several beach clubs with water "play equipment" and bars. Very convenient for a quick walk for lunch or to pay a daily fee to play in the water. We also walked next door to Secrets to use the Spa for Massages. They offered the services at the same price as for their guests. This was a nice additional service.
Cozumel is a great island where you always feel safe (differently than other parts of Mexico) We found the food at every Restaurant we visited to be fresh and delicious. Although its expensive, I do recommend renting a car for at least a portion of your visit. YOu will want to go to the quiet side of the island, into town, or the ruins - all easier with your own transportation - but the cabs are plentiful! We made several trips to the Mega (local super store) for groceries. It is definately pleasant and "American" enough while still offering a local flavor and foods.
We will be going to Cozumel again, and when we do we will avoid the "all inclusives" and stay at Casa Gonzales at Resdiencia Reef. We loved it!
enero 28, 2014 ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! (Pam) We just returned form a weeks stay in this penthouse. We have used VRBO before but have never experienced this before! The pictures and descriptions do not give due justice. This place is a gem. It is immaculate, comfortable, fit with every amenity you could ever need...is a true home away from home. The views from every room in the penthouse are amazing. We enjoyed much of our time on the private rooftop terrace, especially in the evenings to watch the sunsets. Then fill our drinks and walk to the beach and enjoy the warm salty air. The other thing we appreciated about the property was the safe feeling, nothing like other Mexico destinations...No merchants trying to sell you things on the beach or get you to book trips, just total peacefulness...The grounds are also immaculate! Just beautiful. We felt so welcomed by everyone there. Patsy is an absolute angel! A vacation angel!!! She helped with anything we wanted to do. She has put together a book for the penthouse with her expertise on the area and everything we tried was a win! Thanks Patsy. If you are looking at this property book it... You wont be disappointed. One more thing while there...do the glass bottom snorkeling boat! It was one of my favorite things we did there. I cannot remember the company but you can ask Patsy. They came and picked us up right on the pier in front of the property and had drinks and prepared food on the boat! The snorkeling was amazing!

agosto 14, 2012 minke (Marcia) This was a 10 star unit. It was immaculate, comfortable, fully equipped (the kitchen with views is divine) and quiet. We like to cook and it was easy with even a dishwasher. We appreciated the washing machine/dryer and other appliances - everything was in pristine working condition. The rooms are spacious, well light and with individual air conditioners, to maximize cooling along with room fans and blinds.
The beach is a few steps away and great place to watch the sunset, relax, walk, nap and read after a day of diving.
The booking was easy and we appreciated Patsy's quick responses to our questions. We loved the door lock - a simple combination with no key to worry about.
We will definitely be back. The comfort and beauty accelerated our unwinding and we hated to leave.
junio 2, 2012 Loved this condo! (Dee) I have stayed at RR on 4 occasions. This was the first time in this condo and I enjoyed it greatly. The condo is lovely. The furnishings and decor are great. Looking at the stars from the rooftop was amazing. The unit is as described and the pictures are accurate. We would recommend the unit and would choose to stay here again.

We had a perfect vacation there: tropical drinks on the terraces, meals to die for (thank you, Veronica!), massages on the rooftop solarium at sunset, friendly assistance and guidance from all (special thanks to Luis and Patty), and the best of all possible gifts: peace and serenity! Our days started lazily enjoying the comfy ambiance of this home away from home; we enjoyed leisurely breakfasts before meandering down to the lounges on the beach. We loved passing by iguanas and tropical riparian lands along the way, and nothing about this vacation was less than delightful! We thank you for the chance to experience a side of life we'd only dreamed of! Muchicisima gracias!
diciembre 4, 2010 A perfect stay (Jody & Family) My family had a fabulous time in Cozumel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo in Residencias Reef. The condo worked perfectly and had everything we needed including the great pools and the beautiful beach. We spent everyday of our stay snorkling from the beach in front of the condo and saw so many different critters, it was great! Everything was fantastic including our communication with Patsy and all her helpful information.
We hope we can someday revisit the island and stay again in one of your lovely condos.
