| Descripción Island House es una casa cursi de 4 dormitorios situado en el centro de Cozumel, a sólo cuatro cuadras del mar. Si usted está buscando un lugar desde el que se puede caminar por todas partes, esta es la casa perfecta. La plaza principal de Cozumel, con baile cada domingo por la noche, está a sólo unas pocas cuadras de distancia, al igual que muchos restaurantes, supermercados, y otros servicios locales.
La característica única de esta casa es que todo se encuentra en un nivel, en dos edificios separados conectados por un largo pasillo al aire libre que conduce a la piscina y jardín.
Un lado de la casa contiene el dormitorio principal, que tiene una cama king size, TV por cable, una cómoda sala de estar y un gran cuarto de baño con ducha. Este dormitorio tiene puertas corredizas que dan a la zona de piscina y patio trasero .
El otro lado de la casa tiene las tres habitaciones restantes, así como la cocina de la casa, comedor y sala de estar. La cómoda sala de estar tiene un sofá, un loveseat y un televisor de pantalla plana con cable. Fuera de la sala de estar se encuentra la cocina totalmente equipada con barra de desayuno, electrodomésticos y una zona de comedor con capacidad para seis personas.
Por un corto pasillo que conduce fuera de la sala de estar encontrará tres dormitorios. Dos de las habitaciones cuentan con baño privado, uno con una bañera muy profunda, así como una ducha. El tercer cuarto de baño está situado justo al lado de este pasillo y también tiene area de regadera. Dos de las habitaciones tienen camas de tamaño matrimonial, mientras que el tercero tiene dos camas individuales.
Otra característica única de esta casa es que es espectacular y tiene un enorme patio trasero. La piscina, rodeada de plantas tropicales exuberantes, pisos de mosaicos, y bancos para sentarse, es perfecto para los niños o los adultos para relajarse después de un largo día en la playa. Detrás de la piscina, hay aún más patio que contiene un camino largo a pie con bancos y grandes palmeras que bordean cada lado.

Comentarios (27)   agosto 1, 2022 Cozumel Trip July 2022 (Waynea S.) We really enjoyed our stay at Island House. The home is very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. We have traveled to Cozumel for many years and have always stayed at resorts. This home is a much better option. It is close to shopping, restaurants and the ocean. The pool is very nice and we loved the yard and the privacy. We plan to book this home again on our next visit.

The house was very clean, the pool was very nice and we sat outside every morning for coffee. Nothing bad to say about this property. Victor was very accommodating when we had questions or needed help. Would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend it to anyone.

 mayo 12, 2021 Everything exceeded my expectations. (Jake S) The house was perfect. Nice, but not so swanky that I was worried about my kids making a mess, etc. Very comfortable. The pool was heaven, especially after diving, and I always prefer to staying in a neighborhood where I get to meet and talk to the locals. The communication with the booking was great, and Victor, who met us at the airport to give us keys was fantastic. He helped us figure out all kinds of goofy questions we came up with and was kind and helpful in every way.

noviembre 20, 2020 (Whitney) The Island House was beautiful and in a great location to walk to basically everything. We were a little disappointed that due to the rain and storms we were moved to a house with one less bathroom, but the house itself was wonderful and the pool was definitely worthwhile. I also HIGHLY recommend the at home chef service. So worth it. We will definitely use one of Pawels houses the next time we stay in Cozumel. When we arrived the ferries had stopped due to weather and our host stayed in contact the entire time and helped us get across to the island. Can't wait to come back!

We also loved being able to easily walk through the neighborhoods to experience the real community and restaurants where the locals eat. The pool was great. Supplied water, beach towels, internet, cable tv, maid service were all excellent. I would highly recommend this house.
abril 15, 2018 “Fantastic in-town vacation rental!” (A Tripadvisor member) This was our second stay at Island House (would have been our third had it not been unavailable 2 years ago), and once again Island House did not disappoint!
The house has an A+ location that is perfect for anyone considering an in-town vacation. Several good restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk--Rolandi's, Kondesa, and Chardonnay were all on our list for this year's stay. For some authentic fare, check out Los Otates for tacos al pastor, Panederia la Cozumeleno for pan dulce, and Los Chilangos loncheria for some Yucatecan food. The town center and all its amenities are not much further, still an easy walk compared to properties in the Corpus Christi neighborhood.
The in-town beach clubs at Hotel Barracuda and Hotel Cozumel are a nearby option for anyone looking for some decent snorkeling without having to hop in a cab or rent a car. And the Mega grocery store is just 2 blocks away for any groceries you need during your stay.
The house (especially the giant master suite which is across the hall from the rest of the house) and the yard/pool area are quite spacious and offer plenty of seclusion if desired. Our family of 7 never felt at all crowded during our stay.
Getting to/from Island House was extremely easy. Our guest manager, Victor, met us at the airport, assisted in getting us on a shuttle to the house, and then met us there to give us the keys and a quick tour of the property. Taxi cabs are plentiful in town and were easy to catch right outside the house.
Service during our stay was also excellent. Esperanza, the maid, was there every day to take care of the house, and Victor was just a quick call or text away for any questions we had.

noviembre 30, 2017 “Excellent house with everything you need” (Keesmon) We have rented three different houses in four trips to Cozumel and Casa Isla did not disappoint Arrival procedures were easy with a representative of the management company waiting for us at the airport. We choose to communicate through Whatsapp, which made everything simple. We got a quick tour and three sets of keys and we were good to go.
The house is large. Four bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of room to move around. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook and serve, and with Mega a few blocks away, filling it up with food and drink was a breeze. There were three bathrooms, so there was never a wait to use one.
The property is humongous! It's large just inside the interior walls, but then the grounds extend in two directions encompassing an oversized lot. Parking is a breeze with a spot in front of the front door every time we returned. There also is a three car garage, but we never had a reason to use it. The pool is adequate in size with a split level, so perfect for cooling off. There are more towels than you can possibly use and they got washed and replaced daily it seems.
The Casa was cleaned every weekday. When we ran low on potable water, a quick Whatsapp to the manager had three more bottles delivered the next day. The lounge chairs in the back yard were very comfortable as well.
The setup is a traditional three bedroom house with a connected suite, which could be a small house of it's own. There are both local and American phone connections, so calling anywhere was easy. Internet is strongest in the separate suite and outside, but once we restarted the extender in the main Casa the entire house had adequate coverage.
Our group of four divers had a very comfortable stay for 9 nights and we would happily recommend Casa Isla to anyone considering staying there.

Manager was helpful when TV went offline and he had it back on in minutes. already planned our next trip there.

The place was very clean and had all the amenities you would need including a blender. The pool area was perfect for relaxing and had a few pool chairs as well. Location was a bit of a walk (10-15min) from the Main Streets in Cozumel but wasn't an issue for us at all. Would highly recommend staying here.

Close enough to the tourist area yet far enough as well.. we ate at the smaller more authentic establishments just down the street and some Many blocks away. House is very secure and well kept. Communication is excellent. Security is excellent. Rooms are excellent. It is home away from home yet still authentic Mexican style.. "
mayo 31, 2016 “A lovely house perfectly priced” (kwilson312) Me, my husband, my best friend and her husband stayed there last year for a week. We loved it. I wanted to rent it again this year but wasnt available for the month. So i sit now in another cozumel house this month and I miss Island House. The house is decorated in a "family style." Which is fine by me. The private pool is just the right size for lounging or cooling off. The grounds are lovely. There are all kinds of hidden little areas. With benches and tropical vegetation around every corner. The house is in a little neighborhood you are a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Taxi's are everywhere or you can rent a car like we did, You have you own private gated parking spot at your front door.
If your looking for a convenient relaxing stay, you found it in Island house.
abril 30, 2016 “A lovely house perfectly priced” (Mick S) We spent 3 weeks here. I chose the house mainly because it had a pool that our autistic son would enjoy, (in fact the pool area was the most used part of the house used as the morning coffee area and the end of day pool parties), and the location in town fitted our needs. House is perfectly setup with one side having 3 beds, kitchen, dining, and living room. Across the outside hallway is the large master bedroom. At the rear is the pool with grill area. The grounds are quite simply beautiful and offer seclusion if wanted. There is a large 2 car garage for off street parking. House is located within easy walking distance of 2 grocery stores and the sea front. It was very quiet at night. Beds were comfortable, kitchen utensils were plentiful and functional.
WiFi was good in master bedroom and pool area, a booster would be a worthy addition. Daily maid service did a excellent job, well done Esperanza! We had a couple of issues while there A/C and TV both were dealt with that day. We needed a sitter for our son for one day and contacted the rep who within hours gave us a contact of a person who was bi lingual and had worked with special needs people, kudos to management. Booking was all done on line and process was simple.
Final analysis I would not hesitate to stay here again
